Garden maintenance

The garden, all year, without thinking about it

Nothing spectacular, and that is the point. Mowing, pruning, weeding, putting the garden to bed: a garden asks for a rhythm more than for feats. We keep it for you, visit by visit or by the year, for private clients as much as for property managers, councils and companies.

We work from southern Luxembourg up to Mersch.

Mowing is the backbone of maintenance: the height suited to the season (higher in summer, so that the lawn stands up to drought), edges kept, regular visits. We are glad to mow selectively: a strip left to grow at the back of the garden, and the bees do the rest.

Weeding is done without chemicals: mechanical, thermal, or avoided beforehand by mulching. A well mulched bed is ten weedings saved and soil that keeps its water. Scarifying and oversowing bring density back to tired lawns; in autumn we get the garden ready for winter: last cuts, protection for tender plants, draining down the irrigation.

For property managers, councils and companies we draw up a yearly contract: a schedule of visits, a single contact, a clean site after every visit, and VCA certification for sites that require it. For private clients the arrangement is adjusted, from a simple mowing visit to a garden looked after entirely.

What this covers

  1. Mowing

Regular, at the right height, edges included. Selective where the garden can take a corner of meadow.

  2. Lawn care

Scarifying, aerating, oversowing, feeding: the lawn recovers its density without being redone.

  3. Weeding without chemicals

Mechanical, thermal, and mulching as prevention, in line with our principles.

  4. Yearly contract

A schedule, a contact, a price known in advance: planned maintenance for property managers, councils and companies.

How it works

  1. Taking stock

We walk the garden with you: areas to mow, hedges, beds, trees, irrigation, access, storage. We also note what you want left alone: a corner of long grass, a log pile that already shelters someone.

  2. The schedule

We draw up a plan of visits for the year, month by month, with the detail of what is done on each one. You know in advance who is coming, when, and for how much.

  3. The visits

Mowing at the height of the season, pruning at the right time, mechanical or thermal weeding, mulching as prevention. The site is left clean every time, paths blown down included.

  4. The end of season review

Once a year we take stock: what has held up well, what is struggling, what should be taken in hand or replanted. That is when we adjust next year’s contract, down as well as up.

The right season

All year round, each season with its work: starting up again and pruning at the end of winter, mowing and weeding from spring to autumn, hedge cutting outside the nesting season, then leaves, last cuts, protection for tender plants and draining down the irrigation before the frosts.
